Bloom and Wither

Something I drew last month, that I finished just in time for an art contest. The rules didn't say anything about posting it elsewhere, and this is my personal gallery in any case. It was my last (completed) drawing of 2014, so I felt like sharing it already.

I think now I've finally got a solid design for Viva. In my previous pictures of her she always wore regular clothes, so I decided to give her some proper Grim Reaper flair. I think her more normal outfits are what she wears most of the time, and this more formal getup is her all powered up.

I wanted to compose this a bit different than I usually do, so I tried going for a more art noveau-ish type look. All in all, I'm really proud of how it turned out.
